Try fizzy water with (alleged) fruit flavours. Pretty much what they were.

Always liked the Gatorade in Lemonade in the glass bottles. Looked like toilet water but tasted good. Few years back.

Trying to cap the ends and be able to pressurize the intercooler and all the piping. Thought they were 4 inch so I grabbed some 4 inch threaded caps and turns out they are not. So back to the homeless despot in the morning with a boot in hand to make something work

Thanks, I will try it when I can. I changed them at a rest area....so I tossed them. Not going to carry around a set of used filters for a couple more weeks...lol

As been mentioned, you may have a bacterial problem. If you have a Davco type of filter, is the fuel around it black? Also with a flashlight look into the tanks, if it is dark and cloudy, not clear or a tad green, you may have a bacterial problem. Treatment with a biocide is needed. You can find the best prices at marine shops. Your going to need several filters.
Last time it happened, it took 6 gallons and about 6 or 7 sets of filters and a couple of water separators.
