RIP Best Buddy. I'm still missing mine too. Dog years totally suck. They bring so much companionship into our lives.

I 74, Leroy IL, Loves getting my beauty rest. I better sleep a week! Glad I checked out everything before bed. Corner protector wiggled loose off a glass pack they loaded last night. It was fine a few hours ago... Glad we dont pay tolls on construction bumps. Daily walk around x 6!!!

Made it through the yard gate with about 35 minutes left on my 16 hour clock. Currently in hr car with my queen taking me home for sleep. Going to be doing load transfers and probably not a whole lot else tomorrow.

Literally the broker made a typo. I'm used to using two pickup numbers because it's a split load going into two different pneumatics.

I got "7302005" for both loads. Second load should have been "7302006". Got the 47 ton in the trailer, went over to security for customs paperwork, they couldn't bill it out to two separate PAPS numbers.

I noticed it earlier today, told dispatch about it, said it should be fine, his email said the same number for both.

    Sometimes typos drive me insane.

Fortunately this time it only took a matter of 10 minutes to dump the load (in between driving to the product shed and back to the load out) because last time I was given incorrect instructions on how to do it, and didn't realize there was more shed around behind the mountain.

Oh well, I'm going home and don't have to stay in the truck. Today was a good day.

@Tug Toy you have my deepest condolences. I said goodbye (not knowing it was goodbye at the time) to the family dog a couple years ago merely three days before she had a stroke and needed to be put to sleep. They become a part of the family and its a huge loss that never goes away.

Until it's raining or snowing and 20°!! Best day of my operating career was getting off the boom truck and into a crane with a cab!!
