When I get home it will be about 3400 miles total for this week. One of my longest since owning this weed patch wonder lol. Sunday night was last time I slept at home, unusual for me lol.
My so called local gig is pretty much done. I'll be running bama for a while then mid summer be takin machines to west Texas and wyoming.
I hear ya brother!! My wife walked up in some of the BIG BIG Sleepers at MATS inside the building, she was like a kid in a candy shop...... oh look it’s got this and this....
My buddy has a Dodge dually with a Cummins, his transmission layed down on him last week, haven’t heard yet what was wrong.
I'd love to have bout a 96 in bunk. But not practical with what I do. One old boy that ran with us last yr had a 102 on a t800. Couldn't get in three of the yards we delivered to and had a fortune in pilot cars where the rest of us didn't have to have them.
Driving the shop nuts ...and me. I know they know what they are doing just don't want to dump a bunch of coin into a cheap work truck.
I had been thinking about some longer runs, but this work is out and back with no digging for a load back home. 2 of my trips this week was round trip rate for just dropping it off and getting back for another load. What makes it nice is a round trip rate for a 1 way load, then find a load home to garnish it with.
It's too much stuff! The pretty floors, the lamps, the dressers, the shelves, the furniture. It's what a guy who has a high maintenance wife who wants to carry everything she owns when she travels buys to travel in. Unappealing.
I understand that for sure! I’ve thought about making my 55 Chevy or my 61 International my shop truck when I get them done, simply because I know how to fix the darn things lol.
