Other than slowing down to 56mph and buying $225 scanguage - I got one too - what else do you think might have contributed to your mpg increase?

    I didn't slow down to 56. I went from a 07 non aerodynamic truck to a T680 with aerodynamics.
Also run 67-72 Mph depending on load. I put an airdog on which helped me gain just shy of .2 mpg
I added the intake which gave me .3 mpg
Added air tabs but didn't really notice any mpg but the spray from wheels is almost none now.
Scan gauge isn't even needed if you have a newer truck.
I did wheel covers on my truck that was almost. .2
I also don't run cheap Chinese tires I picked up .4 by going to a low rolling resistance tires. Pricey but worth it and already got more life out of them over my cheaper brands.
I bet if I was to run 60 mph I would see close to 8mpg.
My next step is to swap my rears so I can drive in direct.

Oh I also have a ops so I hardly change my oil just filters and samples which saves a lot of money.

    48Packard and TallJoe Thank this.

I’ll never understand driving in direct, they tried all that 50 years ago, we have over and double overs for a reason now, any difference of driving in direct is offset by a useless set of rears you won’t be able to take off loaded with on anything but flat black top and you will never break even on it

Well he did talk a couple in to buying 1 of his signature glider kit trucks for $200k with all his goodies on it about 4 years ago...

50k miles later well gurss what it needs a NEW CRATE MOTOR...!! neither him or the shop would cover it....!!

There was a tread on here about it with pictures of the inside of the block... remember he was saying don't use coolant use this snake oil instead.....

What got him axed was that when the truckers convoy was headed to DC to protest the commie libtard representative from Arizona said any trucker that comes to DC should have his truck confiscated and given to someone willing to work. Rutherfraud said he should be shot for threatening to take someone’s property

Probably didn’t gain him brownie points with his New York bosses when he’d point out the ridiculousness of vaccine mandates and such either.
