in my opinion, you're a 17 1/2 year old who's simply bored to death sittin' at home in his underwear with nothing better to do. So you came across a website that let's you say something in a forum. Ok, but remember..... since you're only a kid.... you may not realize this ..YET. But what goes around, comes around. All we have to do now is sit back and wait until your mom finds this website...sees you mouthin' off, and gives you an atomic wedgie. This way, when you go to drive your little rice burner, you'll be squirming like a SQUID and get yourself into a bigger wedgie.

Take note, paledr. He's been banned. Thank goodness. He was just rude and audacious to post as a cop. I don't think he was one, either. I hope he doesn't get anyone hurt out there...

There were some kids killed decades ago outside Edmonton playing the same game with a trucker. Everyone blamed the trucker for negligence until witnesses started to come forward about what they had seen on the road prior to the accident... the car would pull in front of the truck and slam on brakes, then speed off, and repeat the process until the trucker couldnt stop in time. I guess they were looking for what they got in the end.:biggrin_25513:

Yep, that is an exciting game to play. I was running team in to California years ago (1990 I believe) when the problem with insurance scams was taking place. I just crawled out of the sleeper as we approached Ontario on 10 when a car pulled in front and slammed on the bank. I just got buckled in when my partner slammed on the breaks.

We missed the car and the picked up speed before trying it again. We missed them again and the car accelerated. I was reaching for the CB give a shout for the Highway Patrol when they tried it a third time. We never connected, and then did not try again. I called in the license number but don't know what happened.

You never know out there. Be safe. Keep the sunny side up and dirty side down. Take life one day at a time.

Seems like you are mad at all truck drivers because you don't like thier attitude, I am a truck driver and I don't like most of thier attitudes. When you pull up real far at that intersection to prevent the truck going around, guess what most drivers are going to do? They are going to make the turn anyway, and block you or anyone else from going anywhere. What a wonderful solution to an old problem, you should run for president. I was thinking that the purpose of this site was to create a better understanding between truck drivers and the public, and for general information, and at that, I think it does a pretty good service for anyone using the site. If your going to fight with truck drivers on the road, you are at a severe weight disadvantage, they gonna have about fifty thousnd more pounds than you, not much of a fight. Any replies are much encouraged Squid.

Don't hold your breath. All humans have a distinct trait; they are gonna do what their gonna do and tain't nothin gonna change their minds.

Amazing, the human race. Its a wonder we made it this far.

Any one wearing a badge and a gun should speak nothing but common sense, but unfortunately being a cop also has its human limitations. Of course there is no guarantee anyone who claims to be a cop on this forum is actually working for you and me Tax payer. Ya never know!:biggrin_25524:

Just put it this way: In Phoenix, trucks are driving in the middle lane on I-10 all day long, and nobody cares. In rush hour traffic, a vast majority of them are occupying the middle lane and that's just the way it is. I personally don't see a problem with it - there is still the high speed lane and the HOV lane beside that. In reality, trucks are actually allowed in the HOV lane here as long as it isn't during the HOV "hours of operation", which are clearly listed on numerous signs along the way, which is 3-7 pm and 6 - 9 am. I don't really see any good reasons here why trucks should not be in that "middle" lane.
