When I was 18, I rode in an H Model Mack. Yes that dates me LOL. That started a "romance" with trucks and the trucking industry that has lasted since my first job in the industry in 1964. I've been involved in all aspects of the transportation industry but drive, which is what I've always wanted to do. Now, I have my chance. Took a 5 week course at a community college, got my CDL with all endorsements and to top it off bought a raggety old 1994 Peterbilt 377. A true "fixer-upper". I'll slowly but surely get it road worthy and do my thing. Yes, I know a lot of companies won't sign me on. I'm probably going to get my own authority as I am pretty sure I've got freight to haul regionally. So... here I am chasin' the dream.
