Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    But we are talking to someone who dismisses the bestselling car/truck in the world , as unneeded . The F series pickup . The add the other brands .

    That was a management problem. Nothing wrong with the product..
    Best Money making Truck I've had over the last 30yrs was an old Road Boss..

    It Was Built right here in Australia..

    The Factory Morphed into "Western Star Australia". Who eventually Bought out Western Star in Canada. before getting an Offer they couldn't refuse from Freightliner. Whilst keeping the Australasian Distrubution rights. To this Day Western Star is sold independantly of the Daimler Freightliner network..

    Since we're now on the subject of Australian trucks, I would like to share a nice instruction video with you, made by Paccar Australia.

    Many NA truckers say that it is difficult to enter a cabover. While this may be true for NA cabovers, it is not true for EU cabovers, as you can see:



    I would also like to draw your attention to the suspension of the cab, it is clearly visible how soft that is when you see the cab move when the driver gets in.

    105 had small door angle and cab floor was place where you will hit with knee, now they moved foor edge little bit inside

    If that's the standard then you must think everything made by daf is junk since they were so financially unstable they were acquired by paccar in 96.
