They ask because they make sure when you get a trainer that you are paired with someone who smoked if you do, or someone who doesn't if you don't. Unless you mark no preference.

I'll smoke till it kills me......PERIOD. No one will make me quit, but me...and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon. Smoking is my ONE vice. I don't drink, do drugs, gamble, purchase other "services". If I don't have my smokes, I'll go bankrupt buying those 5000$ bullets.......

I thought it was mostly just to pair people up for when they start out with a mentor.

Or maybe on the underside of it all, they don't want you filling up their new trucks with smoke soot so they'll give you an older one.

The only thing that's convincing me to quit is the cost. Even with my Santa Fe's, I still think it's too much. I end up spending almost 40 bucks before each time I hit the road. (Usually 2.89 a pack) No way in hell can I afford regular cigs at over 5 bucks a pack, now. 80-100 bucks a month, and that's if I don't run out while I'm on the road.

One of the good things about being a smoker according to a Respiratory Therapist that I worked with, is that a smoker will die on average at a younger age and will therefore receive less in Social Security benefits....so all of us non-smokers should thank the smokers for drawing less SS.

    THANKS!!! :biggrin_2552:
