Why Does it Always say "Up to" for O/O pay per Mile Rates on Job Ads?

    Agreed, but in order of making ends meet you would have to look @ a rate of $1/mile And drive to the max of 11 hr days. $1.20 to $1.22 max minimum for me or forget it.

    At my company, we pay o/os on percentage. They get 100% of the fuel surcharge and then whatever their contracted % is on the line haul (70-75%). So in that regard, the rate per mile will vary on every load. Also, the FSC changes weekly based on the national average price of diesel.

    That particular day, yes. Normally around $1200 a day. $24k to $28k is a normal month. Lower with time off, higher during spring seeding and fall harvest.
