well if super trucker signals for me to pull over he must not be in that much of a hurry, therefore he can bring it down to 55 with alittle help from me.

It's not about how fast your driving. It doesn't matter if your company truck is governed to whatever speed That's just something we all deal with. If my truck runs 5 mph faster than yours it doesn't make me unsafe, just 5 mph faster. Has nothing to do if I'm safer in my own driving. You can be just just as reckless at 55,62,63 as you can at 70 or higher. And if your doing 55 in a hammer lane well. "Come on dude". Don't be an A hole and just hang there move over when it's safe.

Jabber, thank you for your service.

That being said, who cares??? If they speed and get a ticket its on them not you. I have to do 62, set speed in company truck. If I could go faster I would. Only time I hate people blowing by is snow and/or ice when im doing 55 and they are doing 70. I don't ##### though, I let it go and if they need me to help them out the ditch I'll be there. Please worry bout yourself, leave everyone else alone.

Because them Super Truckers have to get to the truck stop good and early so they can get their pr0n fix before the WiFi gets overloaded.

Aside from the fact that it's illegal. Just because you've never been ticketed doesn't make it right.

Can you honestly sit here and tell us all with a straight face that you've never broken a law?

What I find funny is that most of the people that ##### about us running a little over the limit on the wide open highway, are the same ones that will stay against their governer in a construction zone or town and running 40 mph through the parking lot... But I guess that's ok....

I started driving way back in 1976 while I was in the Navy. Thank the Navy for having 4 day work weeks, every Fri, Sat, and Sun off. That was in Jacksonville FL and I jumped at the opportunity to drive Fri, Sat, and Sun. Well back then all the trucks were geared to do 55mph for the environment. When the laws changed to go up on the speed limit some of the large companies liked the 55mph and kept them. They had no need to get the freight there faster and they made more money.

Forget the driver, right. It takes a whole lot of graphs and reports to show the decision makers the company will make more money if they turn the trucks up. Safety could jump in and show it's safer too to run the speed limit. But, the man that sits in accounting shows the yearly figures and the are just scared to go faster in the trucks when the think higher speed will cost them more in accidents. No one is there to show them there will be less accidents. What's good on paper is extremely hard to change to something that might be better. When those higher ups have to answer to the share holders they will hardly ever gamble.

As drivers we know going the speed limit is safer. Driving the speed limit will get the freight there faster with savings. But someone will stand up and say yeah, " but going faster will burn more fuel and cost us XXX dollars. We even know that's not true when the trucks are geared right like they are today. But there goes the accountant again saying the cost will be an increase of xxx amount in dollars then the case is closed.

I'm not the one complaining about people doing 70 in a 65 zone.
