Why it might be hard to land a LTL job as a new driver

Actually, most LTLs have an apprenticeship program. Especially Fedex Freight, XPO, and UPS Freight because these companies want combo dock/drivers. They would rather hire a dock man with no CDL than a driver with a CDL and experience. Because most of their bottom men work the dock to get their hours.

Which is all well and good until these men are put on the street. Then all hell breaks loose.
