    There is a guy East of Indianapolis that hauls cattle and if I leased on with him I would be making $3.50/per mile running 2200-2500 miles a week. There is money in hauling cattle.

    I have hauled salted cattle hides...Paid good....But I learned you don't camp out on a two-laner in MT or WY unless you like "Friends" showing up........And I don't mean the two-legged type either....:biggrin_25524:

    Last time i checked Bayou theirs lots of cattle in texas. If you can load a cattle wagon both ways you can make a very nice living but it's not a easy job.
