I find it odd they don’t drug test doctors and hang lawyers and politicians.

I think of this as part of the reason for driver shortage. And it makes me feel like my piss is worth lots of money. And I have great job security.

the problem with testing for opiates including pain killers is it only stays in the system for 2-3 days. so that user only has to be clean for a few days. meanwhile occasional recreational marijuana use will stay in the system for up to 30 days. the problem here is the hard core opiate users wont get caught but the guy that smoked a joint 2 weeks ago that has no effect on their ability to drive here and now gets screwed, but its OK to go out and get absolutely hammered on alcohol. this country has a serous problem with both opiates and alcohol consumption.

sad when i tell people i dont drink at all, they say i should start...... short answer...... NO THANKS. i stay completely clean and continue working and driving. those are my choices.

Doctors are drug tested if they are an employee of a hospital that does drug testing....randoms, new hires, for cause, post accident....seems like there is one more that I can’t recall.

I think it’s funny that this is another drug test topic thread, considering the OP’s premise (“why are there so many drug test threads..?”).

Every profession has a drug problem. We hear about it probably due to the strict regulations and the physical and hair follicles and anal probes.

If you looked at parties where CEOs of corporations get together, you’ll see drug usage in a few of them. I know because my parents are friends with a couple CEO types and I’ve heard the stories.

    Badmon and x1Heavy Thank this.
