There are different union contacts. Master freight, pipeline, ect. There all great jobs. If you want those types of jobs. Start now contacting them and keep at it. It helps to keep a clean record and keep gaining experience. Never hurts to study up on the kind of trucks and infrastructure of those jobs. Heck I got on and didn't know anyone. You can too.

I looked at their website. Looks like just another a junk company to me. Practical miles, bonuses etc etc. All things that raise the red flag of awareness.

Sounds right to me. The last time we had an employee leave here was his retirement after 28 years (3 months ago). That was a forklift driver. The last truck driver to leave was 2 years ago with 31 years with the company.

it's trucking, no company or job will be great.. there's BS within it all.
I'd rather be putting up with BS making .58CPM doing LTL rather than .28CPM at CR England. That's for sure

I met an Old Dominion driver today at a rest stop, all he does is run terminal to terminal and do hook and hooks.
    Over .60CPM also.

No city driving.. no shippers and receivers and gets to go in a hotel every night.

That's the way to do it

well, they are teamsters, they have a decent pension and benefits, remember, it IS only truckload, its only going to get so good with a dry van and sleeper cab. BUT, there are many better jobs around, thats for sure.

If you was alluding to my avatar so be it. I'll let it slide.

Holland isn't top tier LTL. Like i said before not knocking the company, Always hidden drawbacks.

Doesn't take much to know who I work for, But good luck trying to find negatives about any current employer :biggrin_2559:
