I play alot of games and download alot. I have a 22gb 4glte Hotspot from t-mobile that covers me 80% of the time, for download I use pilot/j high-speed since it seems to be the only chain with decent wifi in the lots

I have a verizon jet pack that gives me wifi everywhere and no contract. You pay by the gigabite for what you use by purchasing cards that you can get from Wallmart, Best Buy, Verizon stores, and sometimes Safeway.

I was wondering how those things worked per Gb tho ouch

I wasn't impressed with the speed of PFJ Enhanced network not to mention the store vary widely. Also 22gb doesn't seem like enough is it worth it

Everyone is now offering unlimited data. Verizon/att/T-Mobile. Sprint don't count.

I have a wireless card from Sprint with unlimited data.... 35GB at LTE speeds (crazy amount of data at a faster speed than most public WiFi), then after 35GB it slows down if the tower you're connected to is busy/at-capacity. It's only $42/month. This plan is only available through certain Sprint re-sellers.

I have the USB stick connected to a Cradlepoint 1200B (the MBR95 also works well), which gives me a personal WiFi network that can connect up to 32 devices. I use it for my laptop, iPad, and phone (3 devices). This allows me to only carry a 500mb data plan on my iPhone, so I can get unlimited talk & text for $19/mo.

I have the Cradlepoint wired directly to the kill switch, so even with ignition off, I have WiFi (if it's connected to a circuit that's only on with the ignition it's a pain the ##* because every time you start the truck, the WiFi will go out for 2 minutes). This will not drain your battery unless you go like 24+ hours without starting your truck or killing your battery.

Also helps if you always think you forgot to kill the power when parking a truck for a while. When I leave the yard, I just check the WiFi on my phone to make sure there are no wireless networks on. Then I know I remembered to kill the battery :D

Why doesn't Sprint count? Most places it's faster than Verizon now. They've built out LTE almost everywhere (except I-80 in PA... don't get me started on that!). There's also a big deadzone between Albany and Platsburg on I-87. Otherwise, Sprint has 99% of the interstates covered.

How much is the T-Mobile 22gb plan? What happens to your speed after 22gb is used?
