36k, dude ya got lucky. two days ago grabbed a load, cat scaled it out @ 85,000. 500 over. msgd dispatch on qualcomm asking what they wanted me to do. they actually replied "roll with it, you should burn off the fuel by the time you have to worry about it." lol, scales southbound on 1-45 on the way to Houston, got pulled in and over. 3 warning tickets. 1 for being over on drives 34,150. one for being over on tandems 34,200 and one for being over gross on the trailer. 68,350 / 68,000.
have to say though, it actually worked out for me. the ticket showed it as a level 2 inspection with three warnings. My company paid me a $50 bonus for passing a level 2 with no points.

Lol I was just talking to a driver who i gave a ride from Phoenix to Fontana tonight about this, I have been pulled in bobtailed before and thought wtf?
I have also been to customers who never touched or looked at the seal, not many but some -
first off every state has weight laws and god help u if ur caught over on gross or bridge. MOST companies will not pay your ticket so some advice is NEVER accept an over weight load it will go on YOUR record and YOUR csa as well as the companiedpattyj Thanks this. -
I think you just got lucky.Better get busy and slide them.

You were very lucky at that scale. And you are a ticking time bomb for a ticket. I would quit and get another job or contract.

Weigh stations don't scare me , It's the local cops pretending to be DOT who only wear coveralls/jumpsuits once every few months that have no clue about mechanicals
