Windows XP going off market in June: What it means

Got XP in 03 in a factory ordered Dell. Decided on another Dell about a month ago and went with Vista. It's really not bad (but I'm no computer pro). The only issue was when I did the update for SP-1 my e-mail didn't work. Issue was in the firewall and the antivirus (Trend Micro PC Cillen) kinda butting heads..resolved quickly. The system asks you "are you sure you want to perform this function" each time you want to configure or change a proggy but that is sort of a good thing IMO. I wish some of the proggy's like Picture It and others I had on XP were compatible with Vista.

 

Compaq still sells some with xp.
