wtb: Set of 3-bolt 3406b cat jake brakes

    so i will only need to find 2 solid rocker pins and pull them off with vise grips?

    i havent been able to find or get part number any help on a part number for these solid rockers pins would be great so i can get these puppies off and rebuilt..

    dam bud i still cant find these pins i need in order to be able to pull off jakes to rebuild them....and the dam cat guys are giving me grief cuz they dnt have a part number to go by. and everyone in the used parts wants to sell me the whole head instead of just the 2 pins dammm,....

    why not just get the rebuild parts and pull them off and rebuild them on a day off, you can have them off in about 40 minutes, a service manual does wonders my friend, just dont drop the small washers under them in the motor!!

    problem is i dont have a place i can leave truck take it apart rebuild and put it back together again all in the same say without having a city issue. Trust me or i would in a heartbeat i have to do this in pieces.

    Where do you park it when you are home? Or do you run it 24 hours a day, not trying to be an ### or anything but by the time you take them off and put in solid studs you can have them rebuilt and back on in just a couple more hours. Are you sure they even need rebuilding? Have you checked all your wireing? I found a few complete sets on fleabay for 500.00!

    mines arent actuating you can hear the solenoids click but no jake.... motor had the oil cooler go out on it so it mightstill be clogge with the white milk crap that was in the motor before repairing cooler thanks for your persistance trust me i want to make this thing jake badly.
