I thought about you when she said that since you mentioned that you came from Sysco a long time ago! SFI suggested I work for SNI as a company driver OTR for 6 months and then they'd get me into a new truck. Otherwise as it stands I'm currently cleared by SNI to come onto choice right now if I were to bring in equipment from the outside.

Maybe SFI has been leasing out trucks lately to guys who miss their families too much after a few weeks.

I just pulled a load out of there today.
    36k going to Dover DE..3.11/mile.
Nice easy finish for the week as Dover is close to home.
There's some good paying loads out of there going short distances..I'll be back for more.
Yard Jockey was very helpful..doesn't like company guys much though.

I always see tons of loads out of Massillon, Ohio and Camp Hill, PA but usually they go somewhere in the Northeast region and are multistop. They do pay very good though!

They pay great, those tons are gone its just a puddle now. I pumped it dry.

They have a couple loads but its nothing like what we did have available. Dogals at the moment I dont think there will be more. They are supposed to be moving company trucks in there. I was running 2 or 3 a day for them since February I cant do that with what they have available for us right now.

He hates the company guys Im gonna check on him Tuesday and see how things went on Monday since there aren't really any IC's going in there Monday.

That's the thing about choice you can be home. Some guys just forget its a business and treat it like vacation.

Down here in blairs VA showed up to customer for a 1500 pickup. They told me they dont know when it will be ready. Just under three hours and counting no activity in the trailer. I almost want them to take all night and i get detention. I however dont want this load to end up canceling that'll be like a gunshot in the head to my week. Another good thing the place i took my ten is 50 feet away so my 14 has yet to begin.

What's everyone up to these days?

What do you guys use to shine your wheel while on the road?

Keeping the wheels clean seems to do more good than anything. Eventually road grime and grit takes its toll and you gotta get them polished anyway. But going through the truck wash every once and a while seems to bring back a little shine each time until its finally time to just get them redone.

drop you trl and BT, next door to the truck stop. Sometimes I take loads out of there, very light. IT usually doesn't take that long.

I just hung out there for i think 4 hours. NIce people 6k after it was all said and done.

I started cleaning them then realized i wasnt properly equipped to handle it on the road. I need a bucket of water at least to get rid of that road grime.
