Cause the cows are live stock. The deer or the elk are wild animals. I mean I could actually see the drivers of a mega needing to hunt for survival. But most are such huge tubs, they wouldn't make it a hundred yards into the woods. And then there's the thought of them actually handling a firearm. Talk about scary.

 

Herds, flocks, schools etc are culled by an annual harvest, imo they're livestock too, tey it some time, you might like it
