They most often will be on the CB saying something to the effect of "Commercial, go to...." Or "Commercial company go to..." Or "Channel .... for Sweetheart" (or Teddybear or Sugarcheeks, or whatever handle she happens to be using)

The ones who wander the lot usually look to see who is sitting up front and will approach and ask whether they would like some commercial company. Normally, 99% of the time, a polite, "No, thank you" does just fine.

Drivers will "call" them over by flashing their lights at them as well. I get singularly irritated when I get "flashed" by one of these idiots. I think it's fairly obvious I'm not a lizard. I've been getting grouchy in my old age and will at the very least turn around and give that driver a dirty look. Sometimes I will shake my keys at them...."See? I got a truck, too, Moron!"

Anyway, most of the time, the lizards will not bother you by pounding on the door all night. There are a very few who have a difficult time with NO, but they are few and far between. You should be fine out there.

There was one of those on my truck when it got assigned to me! I was laughing over it since I am a female, and didn't come across any male lot lizards out there. Are there any? Would they be called lot lizards or something else?:biggrin_2556:
