    Anyone can go dedicated as long as there is openings for the dedicated account you want.

    Talk to Teresa at the Springfield, OH terminal. She is the person you need to speak with. I posted her phone number & extension on this thread a page or two ago.

    They have different types. Some vary by region.

    I thought this would be helpful to anyone coming to US Xpress. Shop confirmed psi.

    Steer Tires: 110 psi

    Drive Tires: 100 psi

    Trailer tires: 100 psi

    Thanks TruckerDuo, that's great info to know. Does the DOT check those psi's during a regular inspection? Will our trucking company provide us with a tire pressure gauge?

    They do check it.

    The company doesn't provide a tire gauge. Buy a hammer to thump your tires. A heavy one. That's an easy way to check your tires and for unlocking your brakes if they get frozen.
