I've been in the cab for over 15 years, and AFC Transport is by far the best motor carrier I've been with. From day one, they've provided excellent training and support. The trucks are new, safe, and spec'd with the driver in mind. Dispatch works with you to find good loads and get you home when you need to be. The culture here is positive, and it truly feels like a family. I'm proud to have AFC on the side of my truck.

Pros

Well-Maintained, Modern Equipment, Consistent Miles & Fair Pay, Respectful Dispatch & Communication

Solid company. Pulling a little over 2k a week take home (home every 2 weeks) and I have a brand new 579. Good company if you're willing to run.

Pros

honest company.. no nickel and diming

Cons

get some 18 speeds!

I drive for AFC and they treat me right. Dispatchers are respectful and keep me moving. Pay is on time, miles are steady, and home time is honored. Trucks and trailers are in good shape, and the shop fixes issues fast. Communication is straight no games. If you do your part, they do theirs. Feels like a team, not just a truck number.

Pros

Ontime pay, steady miles, respectful dispatch, good equipment, quick shop support, honest communication, home time kept.

Cons

Peak weeks get busy, some policies change as they grow, benefits could be a bit better

I’ve been driving here for a while now and can honestly say this is one of the best companies I’ve worked with. The equipment is well-maintained and reliable, which makes life on the road a lot easier. Dispatch and office staff treat drivers with respect and are easy to communicate with. Pay is fair, always on time, and there’s no runaround. They do a solid job balancing miles with home time, and I never feel like just a truck number — management actually listens and cares. Safety is taken seriously, and they give you the tools you need to do the job right. Overall, it’s a company where a driver can build a stable, long-term career. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place that values their drivers.

Pros

Reliable, well-maintained equipment Fair pay that’s always on time Respectful dispatch and office staff Good miles with reasonable home time Strong focus on safety and driver support

Cons

Occasional wait times at shippers/receivers (not really the company’s fault) Busy schedules can get tight sometimes

They have breached the contract. I have a total of 8. AFC is very unprofessional. Examples: when you call the main number. They answer the phone by saying hey. I literally had to ask, if this is AFC. This has happened to me multiple times. Ive recorded it, because ive never experienced a company, that answers the phone that way. The ghost you for days, both phone calls and texts. With no reasons. First company that the owner doesnt want to talk to driver, that has issues, with management and other issues. They do force dispatch. If you, say no. Then, they tell you, they will not give you another load. They illegally change your log books and request you sign it. The log book did not get signed. They will make you pay for a load. Thats not tarp. Even though the rate con, dispatcher, shipper and broker, said NO TARP. Customer decided they wanted it tarp. When load was delivered. Photos (time, date, and location) were taking before leaving the shipper and at customer, before unload. There was no damage. They charge you for trailer repairs. Even though its the contract, that they are responsible for it. It takes forever to get your money back. Everytime the trailer, gets worked on. Theres a few other issues. I will post after attorney reviews contract and gets back to me. I was able to contact and talk to one other driver with similar and some of the same issues. I did inform attorney about them too.

No

100% unprofessional
