Going in the toilet fast! I have seen a couple of trucking companies fail and was lucky to move on first. I couldn't wait to get away from this place! No leadership anywhere, amateur hour dispatchers and there facilities look like a 20 truck outfit. I got to where I just fueled up and took off to Loves rather than hang out at that dump called a terminal. Now I have a real lounge with free pop and good coffee, great bathrooms and banks to relax if needed. They say that they offer a loyalty bonus for staying a year, but why would I do that to myself for another penny a mile? Plus I have never had another company with such bad dispatchers that I lost bonuses because of there mistakes.

Pros

Bathroom/shower in St George Trucks SLC shop guys home time

Cons

No miles crap perks - impossible terms on bonuses because of dispatchers inability to get you places without long waits I was just a butt in a seat terrible "leaders" SLC bathrooms smell like an outhouse SLC terminal is a ghost town - will probably close

The only good thing about the place is there trucks and the dudes fixing them. the owner doesnt know if hes one of us or a business guy. Bad hometime, was promised 2 days a week, never got it and then you sit around waiting when you could have been home. Life is bettwr in my new red truck, they can keep theres

Pros

Yard guys are great guys and get you in and out quick

Cons

Low pay, micromanaged, clueless hr, terrible benifits, dispatchers dont now what way is up, whose in charge???

Worst place to work absolutely no miles for teams. They use teams for small 300 mile runs or you go and sit at a shipper u.til 2am for your load and they don't let you sleep you are always told to go and check on your trailer getting loaded every 30 minutes

Pros

Don't waste your time with this company

Cons

Worst place to work and very prejudice

strongly not recommended..rude dispatchers and lack of communication between their fellow dispatchers. Lack of coordination between dispatchers shippers and receivers. Drivers always run out of driving time because of reroutes and because of no advance notice.

Pros

none

Cons

Low Pay for experienced drivers. Also dispatchers are all sucks!!! that’s all!!

"Best" company based in Idaho to drive for??

Andrus pays .305 a mile. That's no money. When I called to inquire she got mad when I said that was no money.

"Best" company based in Idaho to drive for??

Andrus pays nothing. Lessors hires out of Idaho. Start between .35 and .40 per mile, APU and inverter on all trucks. Miles are there plus an opportunity to run for our entertainment division Xtreme.

Andrus. Wow.

"Best" company based in Idaho to drive for??

A driver that lives near me in Las Vegas drives for Andrus and loves the company. Depends on what the driver is comfortable with. I've hauled a couple of those "entertainment" loads and for me, hated it. Some love it; some don't.

"Best" company based in Idaho to drive for??

Worked for Andrus for a month in 2004, bounced around between 4 crappy trucks and a bunch of motel rooms before an engine blew while pulling a set of doubles to Salt Lake City out of St.-freakin'-George. The next day I was informed by Andrus that the problem wasn't with their equipment, it was my "attitude" that was the problem. I already had a rental car waiting for me to drive back to Seattle. These guys are a bunch of LDS Boy Scouts. Don't waste your time on this crew of imbeciles.
