I’ve been Driving OTR for over 5 years. I’ve worked for 10+ companies in the span of that time and MC Carrier is by far my favorite to work for, nothing flashy just honest, consistent and smart logistics. Safety is paramount at MC carrier and I really appreciate the benefits of a good CSA score, I get a bypass at nearly every weigh station. They always are punctual about maintenance for the truck and I’ve never been left stranded. It’s one of the few companies where I actually feel appreciated as a driver. I also believe I have the best dispatcher in the biz, and I didn’t realize how important that was until I tried going somewhere else and realized the grass wasn’t greener. The team is also very helpful whenever I need help with anything paperwork wise!

Pros

Safety, consistency, honest, smart logistics, always got paid when it was time to be paid

Cons

Can we please stop parking cars in Truck parking spaces!

Ever since I started in this company, the staff driver manager mechanics, super cool and very very helpful but it’s on us to let them know if we have any situations with trucks or equipment or our job. They’re here to help us. We just have to tell them if we need their help.

I started a few months now I have an opportunity to make more money here in the company, helping others get jobs

I wish that Yard had a shower and bathroom for the drivers

I’ve been driving eight going on nine years,last month was three years for this company, best one I’ve been at yet. Great pay ,new equipment, no micromanaging, good company if you’re looking for miles and you want to run, the maintenance crew takes great care of the equipment in the three years I’ve been on the road maybe been broke down once. The ladies in the office are great. all around a great company to work for from the owner to the lady cleaning… everybody knows you by name.

Cons

Like all Trucking jobs home time ….. but that’s my own fault. I think.

Very happy here. I have no issues getting in for hometime ever. Paid weekly on Fridays and I get my settlement sheet on Wednesday mornings. Both reefer and dry van freight, predominantly broker freight. I average 3k miles a week without much difficulty. Extremely happy here!
