This company only cares about it's self. They tell you things that they think you want to hear. I was leasing a truck through this company, hauling mostly oversize steel plate. They tell you that loads pay a certain amount of money to get you to take the loads. But when it comes time to get paid the load actually paid less then half of what they originally said. They tell you (in a round about way) to drive illegal. My last straw was when they swore up and down that was safe to leave out with an oversize load of steel plate, that was 12' wide, without an escort and snowing so bad that visibility was less then 1/8 of a mile. The "mechanics" are lazy and don't know what they are doing. They say that there is no forced dispatch. The dispatchers get bonuses if they get out more then a certain amount of loads per week. So they are obviously going to lie to the drivers to get their bonuses. The higher ups are constantly telling the drivers that they will be getting bonuses at the safety meetings. At the safety meetings the only bonus that you recieve is a duffel bag or a sweat shirt. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

I see Area 5 axles trucks roll in and out if the truck stops on Friday and Monday like clockwork. There are a few 8+ axle trucks that seem like they never move. Their equipment looks very nice, and I've never seen their drivers do anything too stupid.
