Above average pay, Great hometime, well maintained equipment. Just like any company Bad drivers leave bad reviews. I delivered to the same place a previous review delivered to with no problems before that driver did. They do charge If the accident is your fault or if you hit your tire on something. But nothing that is not disclosed at orientation. They have their issues like travel area ( NE Sucks) Overall rating I would say 95% good company. I have made a good living here and with hard work you could too.

I get my home time, they don't lie to me, equipment is well maintained. They care about you, you definitely aren't a number, decent pay with the home time that you get.

Pros

Well-maintained equipment, great pay, family atmosphere

Cons

I work in the Safety Department at Barber Trucking. We have a very high turnover of Office Staff and Company Drivers. It’s a toxic environment with long hours. This is a rural area so we don’t have many choices for work with our limited education.

Pros

Plenty of parking.

Cons

The Whole Company.

You will earn a rate of 10-12 $ per hour based on the amount of hours worked. Pay rate is stuck in the 1980s as are most of the office staff.

Pros

Scenic area of Pennsylvania.

Cons

The Low pay and poor equipment.

Barber Equipment and pay are good if you are still in 1988. Let’s say they haven’t kept up with the times. Terrible safety record with numerous fatalities.

Response from Barber Trucking

We take safety very seriously. This is demonstrated by our excellent safety record, which is accessible to the public. Our pay and equipment also exceed industry standards.
