It depends on which “terminal/agent” you work for. CSE is an umbrella company/brokerage that provides trucks and trailers to individual terminals who then provides the drivers and contracts/customers. CSE also provides the maintenance support. Pick your terminal wisely and research smart. It’ll make or break your experience here.

Pros

Average 3,200-4,100 miles a week. Little “steering wheel holder” jobs...mostly convention centers, independent receivers, malls, and farms. Depends on terminal’s clients...pays well at $.50/mile. Good benefits if you want it. Hometime when you want it if you want it. Very communicative, and mostly decent response time. CSE dispatch and mgrs are eager to please their drivers only because they have no idea what trucking is like....

Cons

Idiots. Incompetent logistics. Failure to understand what HOS rules are. Failure to understand that you cannot drive 1,500 miles solo in 24 hrs....hard hard accents to understand...fight for your money owed...
