I went to work for a OO that what he told me when he gave me the keys. So I went to work for that Foreigner I have nothing against foreigners as long as they pay you for your work anyway come to find out he's a lease operator and you didn't pay me so be careful who you work for.
I enjoy the dedicated routes and being home daily. I feel part of the CEVA family and enjoy working with other great drivers.
dedicated route for Honda parts. nightly run of 400 miles. pay mileage and stop...plus detention. parts mostly loaded into roll cages. 11 hour shift m-f.
Do not know who you worked for but I have a buddy who has done various routes for them and clears an easy 1200 a week on his night runs. First time I have ever heard anything bad about Ceva.Full Discussion
I DROVE FOR THEM A FEW YEARS BACK, FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS. WE PULLED ALL HONDA FREIGHT OUT OF EAST LIBERTY, OHIO. THE PAY WAS LOW, TRUCKS WERE ####TY. THE SUPERVISORS WERE NOT VERY GOOD EITHER. THINGS MIGHT BE THE SAME OR NOT WHERE YOUR AT, DONT KNOW. IT WASNT BAD AT FIRST BUT GOT BAD AFTER 6 MONTHS. GOOD LUCK
I remember a few years ago here in Baltimore they were trying to hire guys to drive tankers to fuel locomotives. They only wanted to pay $13.50 an hour, while trying to say I would make a fortune driving for them because all the overtime I would get. I can't imagine they would pay O/O's worth a #### if they won't pay company drivers, just my opinion.
