This company is very poorly managed. Trailers are not loaded properly or on time. You spend hours waiting for your trailer to be loaded after your dispatch time. You can bring problems up to management but nothing is ever done to resolve them.

Pros

The pay is fair, but that is the only pro about this company.

Cons

Equipment, load time, management, vacation, holiday pay.

well after doing some research and not finding very much and taking the job here is my experience so far....orientation was one day at there west Chester oh faculity..payed for that day and payed mileage there and back, live near flint and .it was a 600 mile round trip in a full size truck. Then it was onto a three day ride along/drive with a mentor to learn the procedures of paper work and the elogs system works (people net) work. that went great i rode with an great driver out of the flint yard. and the third day i got my truck..a well used peterbilt..which later developed an egr problem..but they said ill be getting a different truck soon. the flint drivers are know as "referral drivers"as we pull gm freight in a line haul operation..but what really made my decision to come drive for dli was not one the driver i spoke too had nothing bad to say and they all have been there for x number of years...it pays quite well and the insurance and benefits are great.as i am younger driver (25) and i was looking for a long term company. but i am usually home everyday or every other day and when you have to stay out for a night or two they put you up in a hotel. the communication between the driver and anyone within the company is great..it is just a well rounded company all together...lol...if there is any questions or comments just comment on here or send a message and i will be happy to answer any questions..happy trails.

Wanted to reply to this. I decided to take the dli job back in august, so far so good. Company is nice enough to give me vacation a month early in July for a yellowstone trip with my girlfriend. One week into working there I asked for a specific route and the following week they gave it to me. I start at 10pm to do my paperwork, then I load my truck and do my 250 mile 11 stop route. I usually finish between 530-630 am. My route pays $805 a week, plus I make $150 a week extra to load my truck. About once a week I'll do extra work after my route usually either shuttling gm, or doing a drop and hook in Michigan city. That pays $16 an hour.. Usually I gross about $995-$1,019 a week. I never work more then 45 hours a week and have the weekends off. I've yet to take a day of either. A lot of people that work there have bad attitudes but it's what you make of it, no job is perfect. They also give out up to $1,000 a year in bonuses for mpg and low idle which I've consistently made. Health insurance just went up but is still a bareable $19 a week $750 deductible 80/20 coverage, dental $3 vision $1.50, short term dis $6 long term $6 cover $1,700 a month, 401k is 25% match. Only setback is equipment is not up to par but luckily I've had a reliable truck for the last 8 months that I take good care of. I'd rate the company a solid B. One of the better non union carriers.
