Equipment--old and poorly maintained. Home time alright. Weekly miles acceptable. Types of loads--not really what they explained when they are hiring.

Pros

Pay was about average for steel hauling.

Cons

Not very well organized at Porter, In. location. Hard to trust management there

Great if you don’t have experience, unless you are able to go to Canada, don’t expect to make 80,000 per year like I was quoted. 10 months I only got 60,000 per year.

Pros

401k, flexible time off, Monday through Friday, Decent Year end bonus.

Cons

Drop and hook equipment maintenance is poor, older truck maintenance is poor, Porter terminal lies to drivers a lot. No PTO days, no paid holidays. No transparency in pay for OTR drivers.
