They are a very shady company... they lie to all the time.... went to Akron three times to trade out junk equipment the forth time it sat in my driveway for a month and half before they decided to come and get it then on top of that they put on my work record that unauthorised use of a vehicle after I told them I'm not coming back to Akron Ohio to trade out trucks again (3 strikes your out)

The equipment is relatively new. Maintenance is kept up. Pay is in the top 20% for the industry. Home Time is pretty much up to the driver. Miles are usually very good according to the time of year. Loads are excellent, and consistent.

What ever you do, if your out of Cleveland, West VIRGINIA, or any other state do not apply for a driving job from this company GDS EXPRESS out of AKRON OHIO. The driver turnover is a revolving door, the equipment is dated and used. They try to sell you a lease purchase but, most drivers caught on. And any money you give as an escrow account they will certainly keep, AUTOMATICALLY deduct $1,500 dollars from the first 3 months, and dIspatch is a bunch of inexperienced cowboys, who will tell you just about anything to get you off and running, remember GDS EXPRESS NO!, NO!, NO! NOT EVER!!!

Stay away they will Rob you blind. Very poor operation . Never get pre plans always sitting and waiting on your own dime lots of deadhead unpaid
