KCK Transportation reviews

This company is one of the worst companies I have have worked for, if you can even call it a company. The people running it have no experience dealing with semi trucks and the drivers and have clearly never ran a business before. All they want is a body to fill a seat and they have proved it by working their employees while they are sick to the point that they have to go to the E.R. and simply saying “you can either be sick at home, or stay sick in the truck and make some money”. I worked for this company for right at a year and they went through 4 employees. They ask their employees to run illegal time logs, they talk poorly to truck maintenance workers and leave you to deal with them. The main boss is not even a boss I feel his wife does more of the work them him, he never answers his phone, never has service, and consumes himself with his own home life instead of running a business. He promised a raise at 6 months and benifts before two years. Never followed through on either. He expects any and all maintenance on the truck to be done by you and will blame you for the trucks problems but yet will push off taking it to the shop till you are out of the state. Loads are never consistent and every employee no matter the drivers experience or how long they have worked for him will always be equal no matter what the case is, which is leaving the company with no room to grow for their employees. This company/ family will use and abuse anyone they can to make a dime. STAY AWAY!!! This company is a small business that will fall in 5 years time.
