So they recently upgraded their equipment, pay, and referral bonueses. this tells me they really listen to us drivers when we have an issues. they know us by our name and remember any preferences that we have. they have been awarded so much business. weve been getting 2800 or so miles per week and i still get my scheduled home time. the recruiter is quick and they have everything done before you get there so no worries. orientation is only 2 days and they dont force you to sleep in a hotel room some random person. they dont feed you garbage. and most companies only do 50 a day for orient but they do 95. you get to meet ops and get to know them first so its so smooth to talk to them.

Pros

easy hiring process great pay great home time

Lipsey Trucking is a small company and sister company to Lipsey Logistics. The tractors are all 2015 and newer on a national lease through Ryder. As such, all maintenance is done through Ryder. Ryder's road service is great. They really strive to ensure you are down less than 2 hours. The trailers are leased through a variety of companies with repairs through Fleet Net. The trailer condition is a gamble. You might get a good, newer trailer or an older wore out trailer. Lipsey strives to get you home every weekend unless you want to work, then you have to remind them to keep you out. Pay starts at .38/mile with .32 with .06 per diem. Pay runs from Monday midnight to Monday midnight, paid the next Friday. Pay runs a week behind. All paper work is scanned through TransFlo. You can use the mobile app. Miles varies from 1,200 - 2,900 week. You never know what you will run unless your on a dedicated run. Even then with the company being under 70 trucks, at times you are pulled of your normal run to cover another run. The people in the office are great. Very laid back and accommodating. With so few people they close the office at 1700 with a rotating on call list and you never know who's on call. Benefits for a family of 4 run over $900 a month.

Pros

Laid back atmosphere with good, well maintained equipment

Cons

Very inconsistent miles and expensive benefits
