Harris Scott, it is with great unrest that any employee working with a company is faced with a termination. Please be advised your dismissal was due to deficient performance, misuse of company property and failed drug testing. When you were hired, the manager discussed the company’s performance expectations with you. These expectations were presented to you again during your orientation, at which time, you signed a confirmation stating you read and understood these expectations. Including that of all DOT policies and procedures. As a 15-year veteran of truck driving there is no doubt you are aware of the strict DOT rules that must be followed. As a reminder, working under an employer’s authority requires strict adherence not only to company standard operating procedures but that of ALL DOT standard operating procedures. Lastly, as a gentle reminder, your request for weekly payments for runs are also noted in the signed contract. Should there be any rate confirmations/BOLs not submitted we are happy to reach out to the shipper on your behalf for payment.
