So I worked for Pace for approximately six months in 2010, and...I just don't understand how they have long-term drivers.
The equipment was awful, the maintenance may have been okay if you worked in Indy (but I didn't), they wasted your time running around making deliveries basically for free after your linehaul run was done...it was a whole lot of work for very little money.
The guys who had been there a while were doing runs that I will only describe as "questionable." And that's all I have to say about that.
It was just misery from start to finish, and I was glad to get out of there.

Very Sketchy Work Environment . DISPATCH CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!! I know they say that about a lot of dispatchers but truly, Pace Dispatch (particularly the main man in charge of the teams)! I had to leave this company!! I was Wrongfully terminated and would not recommend anyone to work here , unless they enjoy being lied to their face daily by their boss who gives absolutely zero cares about you.! I will say however, the Owner of the company is a very respectable man of his words he just needs to pay closer attention to what goes on between his drivers and dispatchers . I was employed here for over 15 months ,I busted my ### for this company, and never in a million years dreamed I could be treated so unfairly .! STAY AWAY FROM PACE AIR UNLESS YOUR FAMILY OF THE CHOSEN FEW. THE ONES THAT FEEL ITS ACCEPTABLE TO TREAT DRIVERS INHUMANE, LIKE A PIECE OF TRASH WITHOUT A HEART AND SOUL
