Lies, lies, lies, and more lies! They are alway making excuses for one thing or another. It is like pulling teeth to get the trucks fixed and the trailers are junk. A lot of flat tires on the trailers, lights that don’t work, and reefer units that struggle to keep running.

Not sure what the guy was talking about that said the trucks and trailers were great, they are junk, seriously. You seldom know when you are going to get your next load until hours before you are supposed to pick it up and then you might still have to dead head somewhere to get the load. Don’t believe anything management/owners tell you, because chances are it’s probably not accurate.

Pros

Weekends off, if you want them.

Cons

Owner operators don’t necessarily get the same quality loads as company drivers.

Great company who know there drivers by name not a number.. as a driver your able to have a life as well as a career.. home time is great!! Trucks and trailers are repaired immediately!!

You got a lot of miles each week, but be prepared to have problems with the trailers that are junk and trucks that break down very often. Don’t believe anything management tells you, because they will tell you what they think you want to hear and it’s not the truth.
