Co-workers are great. Equipment is good. Pay is good ( kinda a combination of by the load & commission ). Management is good. However, at a corporate level, Pilot-Thomas has a lot to be desired. They honestly do not care about their employees and a higher up, during a meeting of sorts, confessed that PTL does not even care what customers think. "We ( PTL ), will continue as planned". Hmmm. Weird. The customer is who makes your business happen.
Anyway, since I have been here, our TM has left, now one of our dispatchers and 6 drivers. Crazy. All within a few weeks.
Pros
Dispatchers, Co-workers, pay and equipment.
Cons
PTL Corporate sucks and doesn't care about you, or the customers.

I am a Fuel Transport Driver.Since the Oilfield slowdown they have been losing money. Once a company starts to loose money the employees become liabilities. They changed the pay structure recently and I have been having trouble getting a paycheck with the detention pay correct. They also lied to me in my job interview about the truck I would be driving. Told me I would have my own truck , then started slip seating it a month later. The only reason I am still here is because they do pay a severance package to drivers who get laid off. I don't want to walk away from that unless a good opportunity comes along. I would not refer any driver to these people until the oilfield picks back up.
Pros
Drivers that remain are great people
