Dispatch will not give you all the information up front. Dispatch will never give you all the information you need. Almost all delivery dates times and addresses will be inaccurate. Wont give you shippers and receivers phone numbers. They dont have alot of refer freight so dont count on it. They pay you for local hourly stuff and you're incidentals , ie. layover, as t-checks. Then three weeks later take that same amount out of your checks as a cash advance. So you basically did work for free. Home time. Will be is whenever they want. Unless it's literally en route. It doesnt matter about your medications/ drs appts etc. And they will have you deliver something during your home time. They pefer you not take the truck home. But they wont protect your car at their shop. No gates, cameras cant see anything. Someone's car got hit in view of the camera. And they wouldn't look to see who it was. I know someone that had throat cancer, she put in a time off request , they got her within a hundred miles. Then told her she couldn't go to her doctor's appointments, because it was too far away.. With no warning, The mechanics went through a girl's truck when she went to walmart in her own car for groceries, pulled all of her stuff out of the newer nicer truck she'd been in for a year, to put her in a older going oos truck with issues, and paraded her underwear around the mechanics bay.
