Pros
Great people, no babysitting, late model well maintained equipment, good pay and decent benefits, consistent miles, a driver oriented environment, good travel lanes.
Cons
The Rare rude employee (2 incidents in two plus years), Governed trucks 64mph,

I’ve been with Magnum just a bit over two years. If you’re going to be be driver running refrigerated freight this is one of the good companies to work for, IMHO. Communication is very good. The driver mangers and dispatch personnel are great people and as long as you act like a responsible adult they treat like one. The only people who have been rude or condescending to me are no longer with the company. Home time is easy to get as long as you give at least 10 days notice. I’ve averaged 2750 miles per week and my pay varies from 57.5 to 59.5 cpm depending on bonuses. The bonuses are easy to obtain if you're willing to drive smart and work hard. I rarely have extended wait times at customers, usually 1-3 hrs tops and we don’t travel CA, AZ, NV, NM, or North of PA. (Rare FL runs). The equipment is all late model Peterbilt 579s (a few frieghtliners) well maintained and equipped with APUs, Inverters and fridges. My take home pay averages just over $1200 / week. My only complaint is being governed at 64mph.
