The equipment is well maintained and at my dc, everything is less than 2 years old including the reefers. I'm a Wednesday out and work 5 days with 2 off each week. Depending on the dc, you will be compensated for everything you do. You won't get a lot of miles at this dc because everything outbound is perishable but you will get your adp (average days pay) plus anything you do. Our office is small and the people are great with a select few bad apples.
