I truly love my job as an over the road truck driver for Swift Transportation. I've worked here since March 28th. 2016. So 8 months and 1week or so. From day one I've been treated like family with much respect and constant and continuing recognition and appreciation for what I do everyday. Safety is number one with Swift. Maintenance has never given me any hard time and any onroad help I've needed was always done expeditiously. They do there best to get you great miles each week. Their hometime policy can't be beat in my opinion. They allow you to take your off time IN ANY ZIP CODE you choose as often as every 10-12 days for three days at a time. I've taken my hometime in many beautiful places all over this country. I'm always compensated for detention at any shipper. They have so many different programs and departments you can choose to work in. If you don't like one you can go back to another like OTR or something different like local and dedicated ECT. There are way to many great things about swift to mention all here. Their swift charities and swift university are awesome programs amongst many. The offer continued training in any area you may feel you need help with at any time. My pay is good and all their kindness, professionalism and dedication to safety and to getting you home when requested in my opinion just can't be beat. Great company to drive for.
