Trainers did not even train my class. One did pretrip with us one time. Trainers who were at the terminal because their trainees were testing on the road that week did our training along with working with their trainees. Also a couple of experienced drivers who did orientation and were waiting for their trucks trained us. A few drivers who had mechanical issues were at the terminal all week waiting for their trucks to be repaired and not making money. Their trucks are very nice though. A lease operator told me he had to pay for his tv, program they use (like direct tv- can’t recall the name), and his refrigerator.
