Pros
Culture, benefits, management, home time
Cons
Pay could be better as well as the equipment

The Auburn, Maine terminal is where I’m out of, and the management is first class. The benefits are decent, everyone is home daily, or every other. The equipment is fair, and the new trucks aren’t anything special. The trailers are old, but in good shape. The pay could be better, but the management and the culture here make up for it. They ask a lot from you, but give you a lot, too. I can’t speak for other terminals, just this one.

Pros
Not a single thing. Nothing.
Cons
Everything from A to Z.

Stay far away! Management is horrible and run you like you’re a slave. Only listen when you threaten to quit. They expect you to work every holiday and don’t care if you’re sick, a loved one is sick, or anything. They want the wheels turning.

Pros
Culture, newer trucks and decent 401k
Cons
They don’t pay for experience or value tenured drivers

Very corporate and bad maintenance. Culture is good but that varies by terminal and department. A lot of things fall on deaf ears.
