Pros
Great equipment, keep you moving, no forced dispatch, Satellite radio, epic view TV, home weekly, great staff, won’t micro manage & leave you alone, great support & communication when you need it, great pay, easy to achieve bonuses, PTO, paid vacation, holiday pay, refrigerators, inverters, optimized idle, double bunks. Safer web Safety score is 2 percent out of service & over 500 inspections! You will not find a better safety score! I dare you to find one!
Cons
Had to park at the terminal & lived 50 miles from the terminal. Didn’t want to commute anymore. That was not ideal for me but no company is perfect; but they are pretty close! :)

Worked with cargo 4 years & really can’t say enough good things about them! I really wish the way cargo is run was the norm with all trucking companies but unfortunately they are the anomaly & you will be lucky to find a company as good as them! :) makes me want to start my own company so I can model how they do it; we need more good companies that know how to treat drivers!

You will never work in trucking again because they will get you blacklisted!

Taylor Express out of Hope Mills NC needs to be called out! They will put NON DOT reportable minor incidents on your DAC & these types of incidents will get you blacklisted in trucking. I bent my fairings on my truck & reported it right away & they listed it on my DAC as a u turn accident. They will twist the truth to make it sound as bad as possible! I worked at another trucking company out of NC for 4 years before Taylor express & they give their drivers a safety bonus ($$$$) for NOT having these types of non dot incidents & never reported them on my DAC! I never once got that safety bonus @ that other company because I had those minor incidents every year! Also Taylor Express is a FORCED dispatch company so you will be fired for refusing a load & they will send you places that are very tight & 53’ trailers don’t belong. So if you try your best but have a minor incident then that’s the end of your career & you can’t refuse to go because you will get fired. So basically your dammed if you do & dammed if you don’t with this company. Watch my full video review on YouTube of Taylor Express on my YouTube channel “thecakemomtrucker” also look up reviews on google reviews because other drivers are reporting the same thing!
