Ag Express Line Inc., and its sister company, Extra Transportation Inc., are terrible companies. They keep you away from your home state and frown upon, and even punish, requests to return home. They add numerous hidden charges and ensure you are overworked while trying to compensate for their dwindling resources. They constantly make up random deductions on your paycheck. If you refuse to accept them, you will be routed to the terminal to have a parking boot placed on your truck without your knowledge, under the pretense that the truck needs an oil change or similar maintenance. If a truck breaks down, you are still responsible for weekly payments while they drag their feet on repairs. Alternatively, they might offer a substitute truck while yours is being repaired, without disclosing that the charge has been doubled. They will send you to locations with the tightest schedules, and if you are even slightly late, they claim that the shipper reduced the price, leaving you with no options. They have very poor and immoral business practices. They advertise earnings of $5,000 a week, but you will make $500 with 4,000 miles at best. SCAM – please be cautious, fellow truckers!
