Maintenance is excellent if something needs fixing they get it done now. Trucks are newer. They make it a point to be home as promised weather permitting. They pay for your hotel and all meals while on the road, very generous allowance for meals. The pay is not as high as I would like but with full medical and dental it is OK. It is an hourly pay scale. After you are hired for 90 days you get 5 weeks PTO time and 12 hours a month. You can save as much as you want and sell it back at your hourly wage. My schedule is 2,000 miles a week average in 4 days drive and one day truck maintenance usually sitting in the shop on Mondays. It is all flat bed usually over sized loads, no tarps every load is different so you need to be able to chain odd size and shaped items safely.
