3 months into the job....Surface expedite is high maintenance on most loads. Moderate pay range $1.50 to $1.83 a mile for the majority of loads we have run. This is their total mileage divided by the total pay including dead head, loaded, fuel surcharge, tolls, accessorials, etc . We average $3522.00 a week. LOTS of fees. They calculate fuel tax and keep any overage. Several loads "offered" to us paid less than $1.50. You will get a couple of good runs and then sit for days refusing low pay/high hassle offers.
