Cons
* Internal Cameras - Big Brother is Watching * Safety Program - Any warnings, violations, incidents result in a reduction in speed for ONE YEAR, no matter how minor.

* Trucks - Kenworth T680 tractors. OTR trucks have a 76” sleeper. Regional trucks have 52” mid-roof sleepers. The trucks are well equipped including television with company provided DirecTV subscription and XM radio. Trucks have refrigerators and 1800 watt inverters. All trucks are automatics. Trucks are governed at 62/66/70 mph depending upon experience and safety program. * Trailers - Millis uses 53’ dry van trailers. Trailers are Great Dane or Wabash. * Home Time - Drivers earn 1.5 days per week of home time. Dispatch gets drivers home when requested. Drivers can take truck home or leave it at terminal during home time. * Miles - OTR drivers tend to get between 2500 - 3500 miles per week * Pay - Millis offers Per Diem or Straight Pay rates, the company encourages drivers to take Per Diem by offering paid vacation, paid holidays, and higher mile bonus for that rate. * Loads - Loads are a mix of drop-n-hook and live load/unload. Millis hauls a lot of paper rolls, beer loads, glass bottles, and other palletized loads. Drivers do not load or unload freight. Some freight requires the driver installing straps or load locks which are provided by the company. * Training - MTI is a 3 week program. The classes are limited to 6 or less people. They offer a substantial veteran discount. This is followed by a minimum of 15k miles with a trainer one-on-one.
