I've been with Heartland Express since 2008 and although they are not perfect they do have an open-door policy, following a chain-of-command, that resolves any issues that may arise. The equipment is first rate and not that old, the pay rate is based on your years of experience over-the-road, the miles are decent (better, I think, if you run as a "system" driver as opposed to "regional"), and the loads are mostly drop & hook, and 99+% no-touch. I usually stay out for 12 days at a time and get 3 days off in return, which works for me.
